    What's the trick to booking at Hilton Head? No matter what days I look for nothing is ever available.

    Thanks for bringing your question about booking Disney’s Hilton Head Island Resort to planDisney, we’re always happy to help out a fellow Disney Vacation Club Member. 

    I love the flexibility of our Disney Vacation Club Membership. My family enjoys visiting different resorts and seeing the unique theming of each. Disney Vacation Club Members can make reservations up to 11 months before the Check-In date at their Home Resort and 7 months in advance of the Check-In date at all of the other Disney Vacation Club Resorts. The tricky part is when trying to book at a smaller resort that has fewer Villas available - this is certainly where the Home Resort advantage comes in.

    That being said, I have had luck when booking resorts 7 months out (but the time of year also comes into play). While Disney Vacation Club Members can book by phoning Member Services, I highly recommend booking online through the DVC website. The online booking window opens at 8:00 AM EST whereas Member Services opens at 9:00 AM EST. That extra time can make all the difference when trying to book a high-demand room category at a smaller resort.
