Hello, how can I get to Tri circle D ranch from Boardwalk Villa - thanks

    Hey there Sonnia!

Ready for a rootin' tootin' adventure at Tri-Circle-D Ranch? This delightful destination is where Disney magic meets the Wild West, and it's the perfect place to saddle up for a unique experience. Located at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground, Tri-Circle-D Ranch is home to gorgeous horses, charming pony rides, and even Cinderella’s ponies! You can also explore Walt Disney’s love for horses and horse-drawn transportation.

Now, let’s get you from Disney’s BoardWalk Inn to the beautiful Tri-Circle-D Ranch. Here are some fun ways to travel:

The most direct and quickest way is by using Disney's Minnie Van Service Connected by Lyft. Hop into one of Disney's iconic red-and-white polka-dotted Minnie Vans for a whimsical and comfortable ride. Simply use the Lyft app to request a Minnie Van. They’ll pick you up at Disney’s Boardwalk Inn and whisk you away directly to Fort Wilderness. It’s a direct, door-to-door service with a touch of Disney magic! Once you arrive, you'll want to take the Internal Shuttle marked Settlement Depot to get you within walking distance to the ranch. You can also opt to use a general Lyft or Uber, but I always feel like I’m riding in style in a Minnie Van.

If you’re looking to save on transportation, your next best bet is the good old bus and boat combo.

Step 1: Catch a Disney bus from Disney’s BoardWalk Inn to Magic Kingdom Park. Buses run frequently, so you likely won’t have to wait long.

Step 2: Once you arrive at Magic Kingdom Park, head to the boat launch. Board the boat heading to Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground. The scenic boat ride offers beautiful views of Bay Lake and the surrounding areas.

Step 3: Upon arrival at Fort Wilderness, follow the signs to Tri-Circle-D Ranch. It's a short walk from the marina, and you'll be there in no time!

Another option is to take a bus and then an Internal Shuttle once you arrive at Fort Wilderness. However, I will caution that this is probably the longest route in terms of time.

Step 1: Take a Disney bus from Disney’s BoardWalk Inn to Disney's Hollywood Studios.

Step 2: From Disney’s Hollywood Studios, transfer to a bus heading to Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground.

Step 3: Once at Fort Wilderness, transfer to the internal shuttle bus marked "Settlement Depot." This shuttle will drop you off near Tri-Circle-D Ranch.

No matter which mode of transportation you choose, you’re in for a delightful day at Tri-Circle-D Ranch. Enjoy the beautiful horses and don’t forget to snap a few photos of the beautiful surroundings!
