Does the T-Rex restaurant have quick service options or does it require a reservation? We are thinking lunch 1 day for our dinosaur crazy son.

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Brenda!

T-REX Cafe™, located in the newly reimagined Disney Springs™ Area, is the perfect way for your little prince to enjoy some time with his prehistoric friends. However, this wild dining location only serves as a table-service restaurant and does not offer any quick service options.

A few tips I have if you're having trouble securing an advanced dining reservation at this popular location, is to check online daily for a reservation via the Walt Disney World® website. You might also find success when you check back within 24 hours of your desired reservation day and time. With Walt Disney World's current dining reservation cancellation policy, many guests cancel one day out to avoid the fee, opening up last-minute reservations.

Another idea is to let him visit the Build-A-Dino® by Build-A-Bear® Workshop located in the restaurant, this would give him a friend to take home and the chance to see the restaurant. Cast Members are usually more than welcoming if you ask to walk around inside.

I hope this helps, Brenda. Please let us know if you have any additional questions and I hope you have a roaring good time.
