How to get a Tree lighting processional ticket for 2019?

Hi there, Andrea, and thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! There’s nothing as magical as spending the Holidays at the Disneyland Resort, and I can’t wait for you to experience it soon!

The Disneyland Resort recently announced the official dates of the 2019 Candlelight Processional, and it’s set for Saturday, December 7, and Sunday, December 8, 2019. In past years, there were two performances each evening, one at 5:20 PM, and one at 7:35 PM. The narrator usually isn’t announced until the first show of the weekend. Unfortunately, seating for the Candlelight Processional is invitation-only, as it has been since 1958, when Walt Disney created this tradition as a way to thank community partners. So, tickets for seats are not available for purchase or reservation. However, all Guests are welcome to watch this beloved Holiday event from any open spots on Main Street, U.S.A., though space is very limited. Some Guests have been known to wait all day for standing-room only spots behind the seating area, though it’s also possible to hear the ceremony along Main Street, U.S.A. You could even watch the 600-member choir walk through Disneyland Park from “it’s a small world” to Town Square, where the performance is held in front of the Disneyland Railroad Station on Main Street, U.S.A. What a sight to see!

Speaking of getting in the Holiday spirit, you won’t want to miss my favorite seasonal experiences, including “it’s a small world” Holiday Lighting and A Christmas Fantasy Parade! Another fun way to make merry memories is by taking the “Holiday Time at the Disneyland Resort” Guided Tour. During this walking tour, you’ll be treated to reserved viewing of A Christmas Fantasy Parade, delicious holiday treats, a collectible pin, and more.

Wishing you a very merry Holiday at the Happiest Place on Earth!

As a mom of three kids ages 5-10, I consider myself an expert at navigating the Disneyland Resort with little ones. My family of five can’t get enough of the magic and happiness we encounter every time we step foot on Main Street, U.S.A.
