Welcome back to Disney Parks Moms Panel, Matthew!
My family and I loved our stays at a Treehouse Villa at
Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa. These gorgeous, spacious villas are one of the most unique locations throughout all of
Walt Disney World, so if you choose to stay there, you are in for a most magical treat!
Regarding the Treehouse Villas' location, head to the
Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa page, then scroll to the resort map to the right. Click to expand that map for a larger view, then use the "-" button on the map to get a clearer idea of where this great resort is located in proximity to the theme parks.
In short, there is a walkway from the south end of the Treehouse Villa area that leads to The Grandstand area of the main resort. You
could continue to walk to Disney Springs, but I recommend that you take a
bus from the Treehouse Villas to the first bus stop at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa, then use the
Walt Disney World Bus Service to hop to any of the four theme parks, two
water parks, or
Disney Springs. This portion of the resort's secluded location is part of its charm, so while it's not walkable to theme parks, a Treehouse Villa is a lovely destination unto itself.
If you are considering theme park proximity when making your choice of where to call "home" for your visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth, then the three Walt Disney World Deluxe Resort Hotels that are adjacent to the
Walt Disney World Resort Monorail are also fabulous options.
Disney's Contemporary Resort,
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, and
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort are all gorgeous locations that are sure to wow your friend on their first trip ever to Walt Disney World. Great idea!
As you plan your upcoming visit, Matthew, be sure to send us more questions as you think of them. We love to help!
