Hi. We are treating our 3 children and 2 grandchildren to WDW in May, 2020. Do we have to have Park Hopper for dinner reservations? Example, dinner reservations at Be Our Guest when we spent the day at Epcot?

Hello! What an amazing gift to be giving your family, think of all the memories you'll be talking about for years.

In order to dine at a Walt Disney World restaurant that's located within one of the four Parks, you must have valid theme park admission to that park. So yes, you'd have to have Tickets with the Park Hopper Option to spend the day at Epcot and then dine within the Magic Kingdom Park. If that is not something that interests you, you can always align your dining reservations with the park you are going to be at each day. Instead of visiting Epcot, you could always spend the day at Magic Kingdom Park and also enjoy dinner at Be Our Guest.

However, there are some really great places to enjoy dinner while at Epcot. My family and I love dining at the signature spot, Le Cellier. This steakhouse is located in the Canada section of the World Showcase. On the menu, you'll find dishes inspired by the different regions of Canada like steaks, fresh seafood and poutine. Perhaps the most popular menu item is the Canadian Cheddar Cheese Soup found on the appetizer section of the menu. I definitely recommend trying it, it's delicious.  Another unique dining spot to check out is Via Napoli located in the Italy section of the World Showcase. Here you can feast on small plates, soups and salads, pasta, pizza and so much more. Last time I was there, I tried the Prosciutto e Melone Pizza. I've never had anything like it but it was delicious. This was a white pizza with fontina, mozzarella, prosciutto, cantaloupe and arugula. So different, but amazing!

    I hope this helps!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
