We are travling to WDW with our 2 year old next week. I am meeting my niece (17-who lives in FL) for Dinner. She suggested Cape May Cafe' which requires reservations and is pricey. Do you have any suggestions not so expensive that is nice for dinner?

Hi Lauri!  Unfortunately most of the Disney restaurants will require advanced reservations.  You can check availability and make some by calling the Disney dining number, 407-939-3463.

Cape May is a great choice as it is a buffet and easy to get to for all parties involved.  It is all you can eat and the food is quite good for both the adults and the children.  Another resort choice that is fun and not over the top expensive is Whispering Canyon at the Wilderness Lodge.  Captain's Grille located in the Yacht Club resort will offer traditional dinner fare and is in the same area as Cape May.

There are many awesome locations at Downtown Disney such as Paradiso 37, Raglan Road, House of Blues, and Rainforest Cafe.  They are all easy to find and get to for both guests staying on property and others coming from the nearby area.

You can go to allears.net and search menus to see samples and pricing for all Disney locations.  If you are unable to secure any reservations you can try to dine at one of the many outside spots located near Downtown Disney.
