Traving in July 2013 with 7 yo girl & 11 yo boy. They want to visit at least MK & Epcot plus water parks. We want to stay at a deluxe resort and are wondering which ones would be conveinent to the above parks. Thank you!!

    Hi Joe!

Disney provides transportation from all of the resorts to all of the parks, the water parks, and Downtown Disney.  It is very easy to get around Walt Disney World just using the complimentary Disney transportation system.

That said, the Magic Kingdom Monorail Resorts provide easy access to the Magic Kingdom and to Epcot, via a monorail transfer at the Transportation and Ticket Center.  The three monorail resorts are the Contemporary (including Bay Lake Tower), the Polynesian, and the Grand Floridian.  Of those three, my favorite is the Polynesian followed closely by the Contemporary.  The Polynesian has an awesome theme and you can walk from there to the Transportation and Ticket Center.  The Contemporary has a great location and you can walk from there to the Magic Kingdom.  I really think you can't go wrong with either!

If you want to stay in a Disney Deluxe Resort, but in a resort less expensive than the Polynesian and the Contemporary, then you should consider staying at Disney's Wilderness Lodge or the Animal Kingdom Lodge.  Both are typically less expensive than the other Disney Deluxe Resorts.  The Wilderness Lodge is a Magic Kingdom area resort, but it is not on the monorail line.  Instead you can take a boat to and from the Magic Kingdom.

I hope this helps!  Please write back with more questions!
