Travelling with an 11 year old to WDW. Is she still considered a Child re Park tickets and Dining?

    Hi Steven!

I'm so excited to see that you are planning your next trip to Walt Disney World Resort and I'm happy to help you with another question! The Disney Imagineers have been hard at work bringing new things for Guests to enjoy to the theme parks, Disney Resort hotels and Disney Springs, so you will have lots of new things to experience during your visit. I hope you are following the Disney Parks Blog so you can get all of the latest announcements about Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, the Disney Skyliner and other new things you will be able to enjoy during your next visit!

Guests who are 10 years old and above are considered "adults" for ticketing and dining plan purposes. So you will need adult theme park tickets for your daughter and she will receive adult dining entitlements as part of your dining plan. Even though your little princess is a big princess for ticketing purposes, everyone feels like a kid when they visit Walt Disney World Resort. In fact, the theme parks, water parks and Disney Springs are filled with experiences that tweens and teens will love!

If you don't have it already, be sure to download the My Disney Experience mobile app to manage your dining plan and all of your vacation reservations right from your smartphone. You should also download the Disney Play mobile app so you can interact with the attractions in the theme park. My kids love to play the Disney Play app's attraction games while we are waiting in queues.

As always, come back to see us again if we can help you with another question! T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
