We will be travelling with our 2 year old Son and staying off site. We are wanting to get magic bands, but I'm wondering if it is possible to get him a "blank" magic band so that he doesn't feel left out, even if we don't stay at a Disney Resort?

Hi, Kelley! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Your little prince may absolutely have his very own MagicBand. You can purchase one for him at numerous gift shops located throughout the Walt Disney World Resort Theme Parks, hotels, and Downtown Disney area (soon to be Disney Springs). You can select any type he would like. Since he is under 3 and does not need a Theme Park ticket, he will not be able to use his MagicBand for anything, but it would be fun for him to wear one just like everyone else. He can always 'pretend' to touch his band to the touchpoints just like the other members of your party if he wishes.

Wishing you and your family a magical vacation, Kelley!

Meet the Panelist: Rachel, Wisconsin

Hi, I’m Rachel! I am a “boy mom” to two rowdy little men at home and married to my high school sweetheart. I am fortunate enough that my prince charming loves all things Disney just as much as I do! For me, planning a trip to Walt Disney World can be just as magical as being there. It brings our family together as we dream, plan, and count down the days. I would be honored to help plan your visit and share in your family’s very own magic! Learn More About Rachel
