Hi there , We are travelling with our 4 year old to Disney and we are not sure if the fireworks will be too loud for him . Can you recommend any tips to see them without being too near or anything that might help ? many thanks

    Hey there, Gemma!

Fireworks can be a scary situation for a 4-year-old. My 4-year-old Pirate is not a big fan of them at all.

During the fireworks at the Magic Kingdom, we will often continue to ride our favorite attractions. The lines are always short, and my sweet son has no idea that there is even a fireworks show happening!

There are a few spots at the resorts and theme parks that give you a great view without being so close to the action.

Disney's Boardwalk Area-View from any area of the wooden walkway for a view of Epcot's Illumination's Firework Spectacular
California Grill at Disney's Contemporary Resort
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa-Just across Seven Seas Lagoon, you have a view of Wishes Nighttime Spectacular
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort-Lounge on the beaches of Seven Seas Lagoon

Tip: If watching at any resort, be sure to take the Monorail to gain access to these areas or have a dining reservation.

Gemma, I hope this helps to make your Disney getaway extra special!
