Hi, there!
Oh my gosh, Samantha - I'm so excited to hear about your upcoming vacation. Our son made his first trip to the Walt Disney World Resort as a 1-year old, and it was so magical! You are going to forever treasure the memories you make together during your family's first visit.
I very much recommend making a few dining reservations for Character Dining Experiences. Your little one can eat for free at most of these Table-Service restaurants (buffets and all-you-can eat locations), and as an added bonus, you'll get lots of adorable photos with some of Disney's most beloved characters! I suggest visiting
Chef Mickey's,
Tusker House Restaurant, and
The Crystal Palace. I have the cutest picture of Goofy giving our 1-year old a bottle at Chef Mickey's - it makes me laugh every time I see it!
When our sons were really little, I also made sure to book dining reservations at restaurants where they'd be entertained while they sat in a high chair.
Sanaa overlooks the Sunset Savanna, giving your kiddo an amazing view of animals roaming just outside the windows of the restaurant. Similarly, at
Coral Reef Restaurant, your family can enjoy spectacular views of The Seas aquarium!
Samantha, I love chatting about little ones and the Walt Disney World Resort, so please let me know if you have any other questions. I'd be happy to help you plan your magical first visit!
