    hi, we are travelling to WDW in two weeks and cant wait. i have promised to purchase my daughter a Doc and Sofia doll while we are out there. are these now available in WDW???? also the forecast shows weeks of showers and thunder storm - help???

    Hi Raj!

    Doc McStuffins and Sofia the First are very popular these days. Both are now appearing as part of Disney Junior - Live on Stage at Disney's Hollywood Studios. Just across the way from the theater, there is a gift shop between Voyage of the Little Mermaid and The Magic Of Disney Animation that has lots of Disney Junior merchandise. I would also check The World of Disney at Downtown Disney.

    There seems to always be a chance of showers and afternoon thunderstorms in Central Florida in the spring and summer. My theory is to prepare and hope for the best. We always bring:

    * Ponchos that are a little more durable and have the vents in them so we don't roast.
    * Shoes that dry quickly.
    * Small umbrella we can put in a backpack.
    * Hats or visors to keep the rain out of our faces.
    * Ziplocs to protect our phones, cameras, etc.
    * Raincovers for strollers.
    * Clothes that dry quickly to wear on rainy days.
    * Lightweight jacket - it can get chilly inside if you're clothes are damp.

    The water parks are great to visit on rainy days as long as there is no lightning in the area. You'll get wet anyway. Rain usually cuts down on the lines in the theme parks too. Exploring the pavilions at Epcot (especially in Future World) is a good way to spend a rainy day. The Resorts often offer indoor activities on rainy days including arcades. Check with your Concierge for options.

    Downtown Disney has some good rainy day options:
    * AMC Downtown Disney 24 & 24 Dine-In Theaters
    * Splitsville (upscale bowling)
    * DisneyQuest (indoor interactive rides & games)
    * La Nouba Cirque du Soleil
    * LEGO Imagination Center
    * RIDEMAKERZ (build radio controlled vehicles)
    * Once Upon A Toy - we love hanging out and playing.

    Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison
