Hi. We are travelling to WDW and are split staying over 12 days (5 + 7), and have bought dated tickets on the side (starting 3 days after our check in-day). Can we still pre select LLMP 7 days before check in? And for the whole length of our stay?

Welcome back to planDisney Kine, and thank you for stopping by! It sounds like you have an incredible Walt Disney World vacation planned, how exciting! With the magic of two different resort experiences and plenty of time to explore the parks, you’re in for a truly memorable trip. I’d be happy to help clarify how Lightning Lane Multi Pass works with your itinerary.

Since you're staying at Walt Disney World for 12 days and your dated park tickets begin on day 3 of your trip, here's how the Lightning Lane Multi Pass pre selection will work for you. You’ll be able to start making Lightning Lane Pass selections seven days before your first check in day, but only for the dates where you have a valid park ticket. Because your tickets start on day 3 of your stay, you won’t be able to make Lightning Lane selections for the first two days of your trip. Your earliest advance selections will apply to day 3 and onward.

Since you're doing a split stay, the system will treat your two hotel reservations separately. That means you’ll be able to make Lightning Lane Pass selections for the first part of your trip (starting with day 3 when your ticket is active) beginning seven days before your first check in date. Then, seven days before your second resort check in (day 6 of your trip), you’ll be able to book Lightning Lane Pass selections for the remainder of your stay, assuming you have valid tickets for those days.

Kine, in short, yes, you can start pre selecting Lightning Lane Passes seven days before your first check in, but only for the dates when your park tickets are valid. Your ability to book for the entire length of your stay will depend on the timing of your second resort reservation and your ticket dates.

I hope this clears things up as you count down the days to your magical vacation! Wishing you smooth planning and an unforgettable time at Walt Disney World. If you think of any other questions along the way, I'm here and happy to help! Have the best time making memories that last a lifetime, we'll see ya real soon!
