Hello, We will be travelling to WDW in October and I am wondering if there is bus service from Animal Kingdom Park directly to the new Disney Springs... Please let me know the best way to get there. Thank you-

    Hey Cynthia-

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Disney Springs is absolutely awesome. With high class dining like Morimoto Asia and The BOATHOUSE: Great Food, Waterfront Dining, Dream Boats and fun themed taprooms like Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar and Crossroads at House of Blues you are sure to have a memorable meal. In addition the shopping is outstanding as World of Disney and D Street top my favorites.

There is no Walt Disney World Resort complimentary transportation between the theme parks and Disney Springs. In most cases, you will need to take complimentary transportation to a Walt Disney World Resort hotel then transfer buses to Disney Springs. In your case I would catch a bus to Disney’s Pop Century Resort then transfer to a bus to Disney Springs. If you want to check out a well themed resort then you may also take a bus to Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort and Spa and then walk over to Disney Springs. Each route will take close to 60 minutes. Of note, Disney recommends allowing 90 minutes to transfer between destinations within Walt Disney World Resort.

Disney Dad Tip: If you don’t want to spend that much time traveling then catch and Uber or taxi. The trip will cost about $15-20 and will get you there in 20 minutes.

Cynthia, enjoy making many Magical Memories!
