Hello! Travelling to WDW mid March. Can you tell me about the weather and any packing recommendations?

Hi Mallory! You'll find MAGIC at Walt Disney World Resort no matter what time of the year you visit. The weather on the other hand can sometimes surprise you.

My in-laws live in Orlando so we visit throughout the year. In March, you'll find the daytime warm, with temperatures rising from the mid to high 60s to the mid 70s degrees Fahrenheit but it won't be anything like the scorching high temperatures of the summer months. I've found March temperatures mildly humid too.

With generally warm temperatures during the day you'll be comfortable with shorts and T-shirts. I generally pack a light jacket for my kids just in case the temperature dips while we're out. For evenings choose long sleeves clothes plus a light jacket because temperatures will get cooler.

Don't forget to pack a hat or visor and sunscreen to protect you from the sun. Pools at Walt Disney World resorts are heated so be sure to bring your swimsuits you'll have fun taking a dip!

March also brings rain to the Orlando area so you might encounter some rain during your visit so I always pack a plastic poncho and rain gear just in case.

Wishing you a magical and memorable Disney vacation!
