We are travelling to WDW in March with our 11 month old. We're wondering what the best place to stay is while staying in a fairly moderate budget. Is it better to splurge a bit and stay more centrally, or are the outskirts okay?

Hi Kristen - It's great to see another MA mom here!  My personal opinion is that location doesn't really matter too much, unless you are considering one of the monorail resorts.  Otherwise, you should choose a resort more based on theme and price.

When my son was less than a year old, we really enjoyed staying at the Port Orleans French Quarter resort.  It's one of Disney's moderate resorts, so the price is pretty reasonable, and it's a small resort, so it's manageable.  My son loved the kid's pool while we were there, while his older sister loved the main pool.  The beignets in the food court are my favorite Disney snack!

    Have a great vacation!
