We are travelling to WDW Florida and will be there for 12 days Dec 09/Jan2010. We have two teenage boys 17 and 15 can anyone advise the best accomodation for this age range, note they are both 6 feet tall and will have to share a double bed!!!!

Well I can't tell you where they might have oversized beds (sorry, only 5' 10" !), but I can tell you that with older boys I have two recommendations of where to stay.

If you can afford the Deluxe resorts, I would stay at an Epcot area resort (Boardwalk Inn, Yacht Club, Beach Club). This gives them plenty of nighttime activities, from the Boardwalk to the World Showcase at Epcot. Certainly you would need a park hopper option added to your tickets to do the latter, but with two weeks here, I imagine you already had that in your plan.

As for the Moderates, I would suggest one of the Port Orleans resorts. From there they can take the boat to Downtown Disney for some evening recreation. With Pleasure Island's bars being closed down, it is a bit more sedate that in used to be. But they can explore, catch a movie, have some fun, and maybe hit DisneyQuest if they have the time.

Of the two, I prefer the Deluxe option, but both are good.

I hope that this helps. If you need any follow-up questions answered, please visit my bio page to ask.

    Have a magical vacation!
