Hi Allison: I´m travelling to WDW on febraury 3rd, with my husband, my two girls (1 & 4) and my mother in law. I´m trying to decide where we stay if in an Art Animation Suite or in two bedrooms of Port Orleans Riverside.

    Hi Leticia,

I am so glad you stopped by with your question for me. I just love deciding on our resort for each trip my family takes to Walt Disney World. It can be a very important step in the planning process.

While I absolutely love both of those resorts, I think your little ones would enjoy Disney's Art of Animation Resort with its larger than life theming and details of some of the most beloved Disney movies. The family suites are quite spacious providing ample room for your party size. With you having little girls, I would highly recommend a family suite in the Finding Nemo section, although the Cars section is a really fun, too! The Finding Nemo section surrounds the Big Blue Pool, a state of the art water wonderland with zero entry pool, splash area, and get this, you can even hear the music UNDER the water! As I said before, the rooms are very roomy and the kitchenette is a great amenity that the rooms at Port Orleans Riverside do not have. Personally, my family will eat several breakfasts in the room before we head out to the parks and so having a space to eat some cereal or breakfast pastries is a great advantage for us.

Don't get me wrong, the Royal Rooms at Port Orleans Riverside would be a great alternative for your little princesses, I think you'll have more space at Art of Animation and again you won't be disappointed with all the amazing details that resort has to offer.

I hope this helps in your decision making and have a magical trip full of long-lasting memories. Your trip will be here before you can say "supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!"
