HI, we are travelling to WDW from Canada as part of a convention and extending our stay. We will be there over Canada Day and Independence Day. I have already booked our dinner at Le Cellier for July 1st Is there anything else not to be missed??

    Hi Karen!

It's always especially nice to hear from fellow Canadians here at the Moms Panel.
How exciting that you'll be at Walt Disney World over Canada Day!
A dinner reservation at Le Cellier on July 1st sounds like the perfect way to honour our homeland on that special day! Congratulations on securing that highly coveted reservation! My mouth is watering just thinking about it.

I happen to know that some Canadian dance schools will be performing on the water front stage at Downtown Disney on Canada Day - so if that interests you, you may consider checking it out!
If you're planning to spend most of July 1st in Epcot, be sure to pop by the Canada Pavilion as Le Cellier opens for lunch or dinner service and join the Canadian Cast Members there as they sing O Canada! It's a 'must do' experience for any Canadian - and especially ON Canada Day!

For some seriously entertaining celebrations, you won't want to miss the spectacular 4th of July fireworks presentation of 'Wishes' at Magic Kingdom. Tip: the same, extra-special, red, white & blue fireworks are usually also shown on the evening of July 3rd. I'd highly recommend that you enjoy them that evening instead, and choose a park other than Magic Kingdom on July 4th!

If you'd like other tips regarding dining and attractions around Walt DIsney World, please don't hesitate to write me back. I'd love to hear from you again!

Wishing you a simply Magical time at Walt Disney World Karen!
