Hi we’re travelling to WDW in August. Since we booked our package in the UK want to check we don’t have to pay for parking at or resort hotel. Also we have a breakfast reservation at BOG for 8.30 which would be the best way to travel to MK? Thanks Helen

    Hi Helen,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question!

Even though we typically rent a car when we visit Walt Disney World Resort, I almost always use Disney’s complimentary Resort Transportation when I visit Magic Kingdom Park. Because you’ll need to park at the Transportation & Ticket Center if you choose to drive there, and then take the Resort Monorail or Ferryboat across to the Theme Park, it just makes more sense to use bus transportation, if your Resort has it, in order to arrive right at the Park’s gate.

Because your breakfast dining reservation at Be Our Guest Restaurant is likely taking place before Magic Kingdom Park opens, you’ll be happy to know that there are special “breakfast dining reservation” buses that should be running from your Walt Disney World Resort hotel that morning, which will get you to your destination in plenty of time to enjoy your feast! For more information about that morning’s transportation schedule, I’d recommend that you speak to your Resort hotel’s Lobby Concierge the day before your reservation.

I hope my answer helps you move around Walt Disney World Resort with ease this August. Please don’t hesitate to come back and visit us if you have any other questions.

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
