Hi, we are travelling to WDW on April 27th for 10 days. We have 2 adults and 3 children. The double strollers, can anyone tell me how much weight they can hold, and is there room underneath for drinks and snacks..we have a 8 year old with mobility issues.

Hi Elyssa!  Double strollers are available at all parks to rent for use for the day. However, you might want to consider a private company that will deliver and pick up a stroller for rental during your vacation.  Since you have a child with mobility issues you might feel that you will need a stroller at all times. Park rental strollers cannot be taken from the park leaving you with nothing back at the resort.

There are many private companies that offer a multitude of choices and prices. You can check them out on line with one being olrandostrollerrental.com.

The double strollers that can be rented in the parks are quite durable and can carry heavy weight.  They are not particularly comfortable so if you choose to use them you might consider bringing a light blanket or pillow.  They are hard plastic so not conducive to naps for the little ones or at least comfortable naps.  They do not have storage underneath but there is a small pocket in the back and many guests find they can put some things on top as long as it isn't too heavy.

Lots of decisions when traveling with children but hopefully this information will make your vacation a little easier.
