Hello, Carla thanks for visiting us at planDisney. Traveling requires a lot of planning and we will be happy to help you try and figure this out.
Visiting the
Walt Disney World Resort is an exciting time for many people. During the summer months air conditioning is helpful for most. I have asthma myself, and I completely understand the temperature change and how it can affect your breathing.
Disney offers a great program called Disability Access Service or DAS. This allows guests who have difficulty tolerating extended waits in conventional queues to schedule a return time. Unfortunately, international guests will not be able to pre-register for video chat with a Cast Member. However, when you arrive on your first day you visit the parks, you can stop by Guest Relations so you can speak to someone about qualifying for DAS. When it comes to shorter queues you and up to 5 additional guests will have access to the program.
If you qualify for DAS the Cast Member will help you set up your first Lightning Lane return time. After that, you will be able to schedule the remaining return times from your
My Disney Experience App. Once you are deemed eligible you will be able to use that eligibility for 60 days.
Hopefully, this information helps you during your visit. If you have any other questions about planning drop in to
planDisney.com and we will be ready to help again!
See ya real soon,
Jeremy A.
