Hi, Paula!
You have a very good eye! :-)
Quick Service and Table Service restaurants which participate in the
Disney Dining Plan are listed on the various documents you can find on the link above. If you look at the
current year and compare it to
next year's plan, you'll likely see fewer restaurants listed on the latter. This is because details for next year's dining plans are being finalized with many of these privately owned and operated locations. As each New Year approaches, you'll see that the list of participating restaurants will
surely grow...and your favorite Downtown Disney dining locations will be added, too!
If I am visiting Walt Disney World within the first few months of a calendar year...and am on the Dining Plan...I usually make my
Advanced Dining Reservations according to those locations that participate in the
current year's dining plan. Because our booking window opens up at 180 days before check-in (but the next year's Dining Plan list of participating restaurants is not finalized at that time), I book my ADRs on that 180th day with the assumption that the list will remain similar, if not the same. Should there be an unforeseen change in the list (thus far, there hasn't been) those ADRs can be changed at a later date.
With your trip scheduled for August, I suggest that you plan your park touring as usual, including making a list of which restaurants you'd like to enjoy each day. That Dining Plan list should be finalized by January (although such details are subject to change from time to time) so you should have plenty of time to craft the perfect plan, Paula!
Have fun planning and touring! Be sure to send more questions as you think of them; we love to help!
