I am travelling from the uk and I wanted to go to Disney 1 day of my holiday can we buy tickets on the day as it seems to be impossible to buy a 1 day ticket?

    Hi Taylor!
    Welcome to planDisney.

It's always a pleasure to assist fellow guests from the UK especially with questions about park tickets as I know it can be confusing.

For Guests in the UK, we can purchase 7 or 14-Day Magic Tickets which offer great value compared to single-day tickets purchased in the United States (more on those a little later).  Our Magic Tickets include park hopping, entry to the Disney water parks (Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach, subject to their schedule of being open), and Memory Maker giving you unlimited digital downloads of PhotoPass photos of you and your companions, while in the parks and on some of the attractions.  Suppose you will be visiting Disney theme parks for 3 days or more. In that case, these UK-exclusive tickets offer you the best value for money compared to buying single-day tickets (which present an additional cost when adding on park hopping, water parks, and Memory Maker).

The only way for you to purchase a single-day ticket for any Walt Disney World theme park will be once you have arrived in the United States when you can visit a Ticket Window at any Disney theme park or water park.   If you are planning to visit Disney Springs on your first day or so, you can also buy tickets at the Ticket Center there.   Alternatively, once you arrive in the US you can buy your ticket online.

Tickets are usually available to purchase on the day, subject to park capacity.  During the busiest times tickets can sell out - such as Easter, Christmas, and American holidays including Spring break.  I don't know when you are visiting, but I would recommend you do a search of American holiday dates to ensure you are not disappointed when trying to buy your park tickets on arrival.

Please come back and visit us if you have any further questions, and you can send any questions directly to me if you wish.  We will be happy to help you plan your magical holiday, and keep your eye on the Disney Parks Blog for all the latest official news about events that may be happening during your stay.
