Hey there, Kerry. A warm welcome to you from all of us at planDisney. Thanks for stopping by with your question. I'm so excited to hear that you are planning a visit to the Disneyland Resort for next year. I also love how ahead of the game you are with your planning and am delighted to help.
I have stayed at many of the
Good Neighbor Hotels in the area as well as nearby where you're staying. You are absolutely welcome to walk over to the
Toy Story Parking Area and hop on a shuttle to the resort. The parking area opens 60 minutes before the theme park opens and the parking shuttles run about every 15 minutes or so. Former panelist,
Lola, also has some fantastic advice to share as you consider using this option.
I've also used the
shuttle service provided by the Anaheim Regional Transportation (ART) System when staying in this area. It's super convenient and there's a stop right in front of the Clarion Hotel Anaheim Resort. I will usually purchase a full-day pass which is helpful when I want to return to my hotel for a mid-day break. And lastly, I've also walked over to the parks from my hotel in this area. At a modest pace, it's just about a 15-20 minute walk to the main entrance.
Have you thought about making any dining reservations for table service locations during your stay? Something to consider adding to your planning list is to make
advance dining reservations 60 days before your visit. Some of my favorite places to make reservations are Lamplight Lounge in Disney California Adventure Park and Carnation Cafe in Disneyland Park.
Well, Kerry, I hope this is helpful as you're thinking about your visit to the Happiest Place on Earth. Please come back to visit us with any other questions you might be curious about. Until then, I wish you happy planning!
Cheers,
Michelle
