Hi, We are travelling from the Uk next April 19 and staying in Beach Resort for 14 nights. We booked via TUI (UK travel agent). We are considering hiring a car, would we have to pay car parking charges at the hotel? Thank you x

Hello Maureen! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Even with the Resort Transportation and Disney's Magical Express benefits afforded to Guests of Walt Disney World Resort, it is sometimes preferable to have your own source of transportation at hand.

My family often balances between renting a vehicle and sticking primarily with Resort Transportation during each visit. With the Parking Fees for overnight parking at Resort Hotels, we have more frequently decided to forego renting a car.

If you rent a vehicle and park it at your Resort Hotel overnight, you will be charged a fee for every night of your stay. The fees vary depending on whether you are staying at a Value, Moderate or Deluxe Resort. Since you are staying at Disney's Beach Club Resort, you will be charged an overnight parking fee of $24 per night.

It may be more cost-effective for you to use the Minnie Van Service or another transportation service for any private trips during your 2-week stay if you only have a few off property locations or single trips to take.

As a benefit of staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, you receive complimentary parking at any of the Theme Parks.

    Have a Magical Visit!
