Hi, we will be travelling from the UK and looking to book 3 nights at the Grand California Hotel. Do park tickets need to be booked at the time of hotel booking or can these be booked separately? Many thanks

Greetings, and welcome to planDisney, Kevin!

Thank you kindly for consulting planDisney for your upcoming vacation to the Disneyland Resort to enjoy a delightful stay at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa

Kevin, if you have set dates in mind, I highly recommend booking an inclusive Disneyland Resort Vacation Package that will include your Disneyland Resort Hotel stay and theme park tickets. I recommend you purchase your Disneyland Resort theme park tickets as soon as possible because you will have to make Disneyland Resort - Theme Park Reservations in advance of your arrival as this is the method of visiting the theme parks at this time.

    Please Note:
When you book your Disneyland Resort Vacation Package you will receive an email confirmation with a link to a file to view your theme park admission and ticket ID numbers from which you will be able to proceed with your Disneyland Resort - Theme Park Reservations for each day of valid theme park admission for all in the travel party on the hotel reservation. Or, you are welcome to secure Disneyland Resort - Theme Park Reservations directly from My Hotel Reservations via the My Disneyland planning area on your Disney account as your theme park tickets will be tied to your hotel stay.

Kevin, kindly ensure your Disneyland Resort Vacation Package is linked to your Disney account to then facilitate the electronic arrival of your Travel ePackage to your Disney account 4-days before your arrival. The Travel ePackage will contain your travel itinerary, theme park tickets, and Magical Extras voucher.

Download the Disneyland Mobile App to manage your plans before and during your visit. By updating the Payment Method in the app you will facilitate vacation essential app transactions such as the convenient Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering and adding the Disney Genie+ service as soon as you enter a theme park.

When you purchase the Disney Genie+ service you will enjoy unlimited digital downloads of Disney PhotoPass attraction photos including Magic Shots from your day.

As a Guest at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa using your valid theme park admission, holding a Disneyland Resort - Theme Park Reservation and your Guest Room entry card, you will benefit from direct access to Disney California Adventure Park during your stay.

Kevin, I hope this information is helpful to you with your final decision. It was my pleasure helping you today. Please feel free to consult planDisney for any other planning tips and advice, thank you!

    Magical Wishes to You!
