We are travelling with our two children, 6 and 4 and we purchased the Dining Plan. Can children purchase meals independently of their parents, or do kids have to be purchased as an “add on” to an adult meal?

    Hi Chantal,

Each person in your party will receive a certain number of meal allotments which is based on the number of nights in your package. How and when you choose to redeem those meal credits is entirely up to you. If you decide to use credits for just kid meals and then pay cash for parents, or pay cash for kids and use just adult credits on a particular meal, you can certainly do so. Ultimately you will have a certain number of kid meals and adult meals to use. If you are eating in a Table Service restaurant, your server will ask you if you are using the Disney Dining Plan. If you want to use the Plan for some members of your party but not all of them, be sure to let your server know in advance. They will divide your bill accordingly. If you need further clarification, please do not hesitate to send a follow up question.

    Wishing you a wonderful vacation,
