Travelling from Toronto, is there an option to get a package with flights + cruise to the Bahamas (looking at August 2023)? Additionally, are there other packages specifically for Honeymoons?

    Hello there, Britney!

Welcome to planDisney, we're so happy to have you onboard with us! Celebrating a honeymoon with Disney Cruise Line is the most relaxing and magical trip ever...I did it myself, nearly 15 years ago! I would love to help you plan a cruise to celebrate "Happily Ever After" later this summer.

There are some beautiful itineraries in the Bahamas this August! You can use the "Find a Cruise" page to filter for your dates, destination, and other preferences to find the perfect cruise for you. Personally, I would recommend the 5-Night Bahamian Cruise from Miami with 2 Stops at Castaway Cay on the Disney Magic!

Once you've selected and booked your cruise online you are welcome to add air travel to your reservation by calling Disney Cruise Line. Cast Members will be happy to help you add your flights, and ground transportation if you'd like to add that, too! You're also welcome to look through cruise itineraries on the website and then call Disney Cruise Line to have a Cast Member help you book your cruise and add flights at the same time.

As for the magical honeymoon part of your question, the answer is definitely "Yes!" You could reach out to Disney Fairytale Weddings to ask about honeymoon packages on your cruise, or you could schedule a few of my favorite romantic activities during your own planning:

    • A couples treatment at the spa! On the Disney Magic, that would be the Senses Spa & Salon. There are a few different options for a couples massage, including one in a cabana on Castaway Cay! Reservations are recommended.
    • Some fine dining at Palo! You definitely want to make a reservation for brunch or dinner...probably both, let's be honest! There is an additional fee to dine here, but it is an incredible Italian menu in the most romantic atmosphere. You will love it!
    • Parasailing at Castaway Cay is my all-time favorite Port Adventure! Floating over the sea with my husband was a wonderfully romantic experience. It's like flying!
    • Lounge by the Quiet Cove Pool with a drink...this area is only for adults!
    • Don't forget to order an onboard gift to get your cruise off to a romantic start! The Luxury at Sea for Two Package is perfect for honeymooners with cozy robes, a bottle of Bottega Spumante, a rose, and my favorite part...chocolates! There's a non-alcoholic version as well if you prefer.
I hope these ideas are getting you excited, Britney! Please come visit us again if you have more questions about your future cruise. Hope to see you sailing by again soon!

    Keep moving forward!
