Hi Moms. We are travelling with our six year old daugther for the first time to disney. We've booked a character lunch at Epcot at the Akershus Royal Banquet. Need helo to organize the "must sees" and the itinerary. We have one day. Thanks in ad

    Hi Valeria!

You can either spend all day in Epcot or split your time between the Magic Kingdom and Epcot.  My recommendation is that you start your morning off in the Magic Kingdom since this is your daughter's first trip.  The Magic Kingdom is the crown jewel of the Walt Disney World Resort and it is the park favorite of most young guests.  I recommend showing up at least 30  minutes before the posted opening time.  Then about an hour to an hour and a half before your lunch, I would leave the Magic Kingdom and head over to Epcot via the monorail..  However, this assumes that you have the Park Hopper option for your tickets which allows you to visit more than one park on a single day.

If you don't have the park hopper option then I recommend just going straight to Epcot and planning on spending the entire day there.  My six year old son loves the Seas with Nemo and Friends and Soarin'.  He also enjoys visiting the Mexico and Norway Pavilions in the World Showcase section of Epcot.

Enjoy planning and write back if you have any more questions!
