I am travelling as a single parent with 5yr old and 2yr old. My 5yr old qualifies for most of the 40" supervised rides but I cannot leave my 2yr old to supervise him. Is there any help at Disney for this situation?

    Hi Rebecca!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I think it is great that you are going to get to experience Walt Disney World Resort with your two children! Traveling as a single parent and having a successful vacation experience, sure does make you feel like Mrs. Incredible!

I have traveled many times solo with my three children. I have found that if I set my expectations reasonably, I have had many amazing experiences with them. While I haven’t tested out this service, Walt Disney World recommends “Kid’s Nite Out.” This is a third party service that can either provide In-Room Babysitting or In-Park Assistance. If you choose In-Park Assistance, you can reserve a childcare specialist to accompany you and your family during your visit to the parks. For hourly rates and more detailed information regarding this service, contact Kid’s Nite Out.

Did you know that there are over 80 fantastic attractions for Preschoolers? Some of my favorite family-friendly attractions that will comfortably fit your family size are Dumbo the Flying Elephant in Magic Kingdom Park, Frozen Ever After in Epcot, Kilimanjaro Safaris in Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park, and Muppet*Vision 3D at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

I hope that you and your family create memories to last a lifetime!
