Travelling in September with a 23 month old and a five year old. Is there anything I need to know to make this a little easier on us the parents?

I would order a free Walt Disney World vacation planning DVD and share it with the kids.

While in WDW, slow down and soak up the magic. You can not see and do it all. It's more important to spend quality family time together even if it's just sitting for a snack while staring at the castle.

Take naps/rests in the afternoon. It'll revitalize everyone in the family. It's okay to enjoy your resort too. After all, your resort is most likely your largest expense.

    Consider having one character meal.

When the kids are losing focus, head to one of the playgrounds such as the Boneyard in Animal Kingdom.

Next, utilize the baby care centers offered in each park. These are quiet  (air-conditioned!!) places for your little ones (and you) to take a break. It’s a good place for potty-training kids too. Look at your park map for locations.
