Hi there Caroline!
Thank you so much for sending us your questions and welcome to planDisney, the most magical place on the internet! Wow Caroline, can you believe you will be leaving your tower to visit the Walt Disney World Resort so soon? How excited are you to see the floating lights? I know I would be thrilled!
In case you could not tell, I too am a big fan of Rapunzel's! I absolutely love her story as it has always inspired me to go and live my dreams, and I completely understand why you would love to meet her. Indeed, every time I go to the Magic Kingdom Park, I love to drop by and meet the princesses over at the
Princess Fairytale Hall, and I have learned that Tiana and Rapunzel are such close friends! Although Tiana might be joined by some of her other princess friends, it is safe to say that Rapunzel will most likely be there when you and your family come to visit. Unfortunately, this means that she has not been able to visit
Trattoria al Forno lately along with her friend Ariel, but this does not mean that they will never come back! To stay up to date on all news relating to restaurants and offerings returning to the Walt Disney World Resort, I would highly recommend following the Walt Disney World accounts on social media and keeping an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog!
Then after lunch, it's sightseeing, and shows and scavenger hunts! At Magic Kingdom Park, go behind the Cinderella Castle in Fantasyland and walk towards "it's a small world." There, you will be veritably transported to the kingdom of Corona and you might even get a peak of Rapunzel's tower! Look around at the beautiful details of your favourite story: Rapunzel's colourful chalk drawings, posters of your favourite ruffians and even frying pans - who knew right? If you look closely, you might even see Rapunzel's best friend Pascal hidden around the town! Once you have found all the hidden Pascals, make sure to go back to the castle to watch Rapunzel and Flynn in the brand new
Mickey's Magical Friendship Faire in the afternoon and evening. You will also be able to spot your favourite blondie in The Royal Princess Processional which parades through Magic Kingdom along with all of her princess friends. Lastly, be sure to plan some time to visit the breathtaking Tangled mosaic at
Disney's Riviera Resort. It is an art piece that is worthy of Rapunzel's approval!
I hope this was helpful, Caroline, and that you and your family will have the best day ever on your next Disney vacation! If you have any other questions in the time leading up to your trip, don't hesitate to reach out because we're one big team. After all, planDisney panelists know best! Now here's your pan, here's your frog, and go, plan your magical vacation.
Have a magical day,
Princess Ariane
