We will be travelling with 7 people, four adults and three children- ages 2, 4 & 7 What Resort would you recommend? We are thinking about a Family Suite, but will we find it really tight?

    Hi Sophie,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question, my fellow Canadian!

Believe it or not, I think that a Family Suite at either Disney’s Art of Animation Resort or at Disney’s All-Star Music Resort would be the PERFECT type of accommodations for a family of 5. With them, you get two bathrooms and a kitchenette, along with a surprising amount of room for your family to spread out. Please note, however, that two of your little ones will need to share a bed, unless your 2 year old can still sleep in a “Pack N Play” type of play yard.

Considering your children’s ages, I’d really recommend a Finding Nemo Family Suite at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort for your gang. The theming is perfect and I think that your littlest ones would have a blast at the Big Blue Pool and its adjacent splash pad. Of course, a Cars Family Suite would also be wonderful for your family if you have any die-hard Lightning McQueen fans (my son certainly was when he was smaller), but the Nemo rooms’ proximity to the pool, dining at Landscape of Flavors and Disney Resort Transportation is truly wonderful.

I hope my answer helps you plan the perfect visit to Walt Disney World Resort for your family! Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions.

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
