I am travelling in a party of 10 next year. If we are under the same lead passenger can we still book dining and fast passes (assuming they come back) for each separate family? my family may want to eat at different restaurants to my sister’s sometimes

    Hello, Kerri!
Gawrsh! Traveling with a party of 10 is so much fun (and takes some planning)!

Once you have made your Walt Disney World Resort Package Reservation, each adult who is traveling will need to make their own MyDisneyExperience account. You can plan together by hovering over the blue bubble that says “Family & Friends”, and then clicking the blue “Add A Guest” button that appears. This will take you a screen where you can select how to add them to your planning party. If you are staying separately, then enter their reservation number and add them that way. It will probably ask for their MyDisneyExperience email, so be sure to have that handy!

You will also want to add your own reservation to your MyDisneyExperience. You can do this on the mobile app or the website. I find the website easier to do all of these things. Simply hover over the “Resort Reservations” blue bubble and then click the blue “Add a reservation” button that appears. You’ll enter your reservation number and it should show the party in that room.

Once everyone is linked, you can share the planning responsibilities! Since one adult can only have one dining reservation at a time, when you want to eat at different restaurants, you’ll make one reservation in your name for your family, and then a second reservation at the other restaurant in your sister’s name for her family.

One of my favorite breakfast restaurants for a bigger group is Whispering Canyon Café, at Disney's Wilderness Lodge. They have delicious skillets, which all-you-care-to-eat, plus a full menu to order from. We had a group of 10 on my last trip, and we had such a great time having our breakfast there. I definitely ordered extra Mickey waffles. Plus, it’s a quick boat ride to Magic Kingdom from Wilderness Lodge!

I look forward to seeing you back here at planDisney with more planning questions as your vacation gets closer!

    Happy Planning,
    Tracy
