Hi, we are travelling with one child and would like a Disney resort hotel room that has a balcony or patio to sit out on when we put her to bed, as she won't go to sleep with us in the room! Are there any that you can recommend?

Hi Bex, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

It's so nice to know that you will be traveling to the Walt Disney World Resort with a little Guest! This trip is surely going to be amazing!

I'm happy to tell you that you will find rooms with patios at many Disney Hotels! My first personal recommendation would be Disney's Polynesian Village Resort because the balconies on the first floor rooms are open to the garden, so your family could wait for the little one to fall asleep while taking turns grabbing snacks from the pool bar. How does that sound?

On the other hand, there are many other amazing options that will offer you private balconies, and my absolute favorite in this category is Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, as the Savanna View rooms will offer you mesmerizing views of the animals!

You will also find private balconies at the amazingly themed Disney's Wilderness Lodge, at the luxurious Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa and at the unusual Disney's Contemporary Resort. Private balconies can also be found at the whimsical Disney's BoardWalk Inn, at the classic Disney's Beach Club Resort, and at the classy Disney's Yacht Club Resort

If you're into pools, Disney's Beach Club Resort and Disney's Yacht Club Resort are a great choice because the gorgeous Stormalong Bay connects the two of them and is an INCREDIBLE pool to relax at!

You may also want to consider a 1 Bedroom Villa, as it will give you a living room to relax while your little Guest falls asleep on the bedroom. They can be found across many Disney Hotels like Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort and Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village!

We will be here waiting for your next questions about your upcoming trip, Bex, so, please, come back!

May the magic be with you,

    Julie
