We are travelling in October, staying at port Orleans, French quarter we are on a quick dining plan, do you still need to make table reservations at the hotel? my youngest aged 6 is autistic, What's best to do for fast passes, family swap etc? thanks

    Hello Lee
How wonderful to know that you and your lovely family have made plans to stay at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter this coming October, it's sure to be extra magical indeed!
You've already made some great choices by opting to use the Quick-Service Dining Plan where you'll be able dine in over 50 amazing Disney restaurants all of which do not require securing Advanced Dining Reservations at 180 days out excepting breakfast & lunch at Be Our Guest Restaurant in the Magic Kingdom Park.
I believe you'll find these Services for Guests with Cognitive Disabilities to be a useful planning resource for your dear son and as an extra to Rider Switch you may like to think about utilising the Disability Access Service Card (DAS).  It's easy to apply for a DAS card at any Disney Theme Park Guest Relations
    Best regards ~ Jane
