Hi Dana. Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
I am happy to hEAR you are planning to go to the Walt Disney World Resort with your little son. There is a lot for little kids to have fun. For a great start, I suggest you visit disneyworld.disney.go.com and download the
Preschool Parent's Guide to Walt Disney World Resort. You can find there a lot of useful information for planning your vacation.
If he likes Disney and Pixar movies,
Disney’s Hollywood Studios will be the best choice for him. Attractions and shows are so much fun. Attractions like Disney Junior - Live on Stage, Toy Story Midway Mania! and the fireworks spectacle Fantasmic! are “must-do”. At Lights, Motors and Action! Extreme Stunt Show you can wait for a special apparence of Lightning McQueen. There are amazing meet-and-great opportunities with Disney Characters.
I also suggest you make a reservation for a Character Dining Experience at the Park. The delicious breakfast at
Hollywood & Vine is my family´s favorite for meeting some of our Disney Junior friends, such as Handy Manny, Jake and the Neverland Pirates and Doc McStuffins.
For meeting Mickey Mouse and some of his pals, my favorite option is
Chef Mickey’s, located at Disney’s Contemporary Resort, it is a great place to have fun while you dine. Reservations are highly recommended and can be made up to 180 days in advance of your vacation.
Hope this information helps your planning. Let me know if you have further questions.
Have a wonderful day!
Gina V.
