We are travelling next September on the Transatlantic Westbound itinerary and we are thinking about leave our 6-year-old-boy on board while we are doing one of the shore excursions. Is it possible to do that? And, Is there any charge in that case?

    Hi, Maria Luisa!

Congratulations on your Transatlantic Itinerary aboard the beautiful Disney Magic in September -- you are going to enjoy visiting the various ports of call on both sides of the pond!

Your son is old enough for Disney's Oceaneer Club and Oceaneer Lab, and in which case, the price of his entertainment and care there is completely covered in the price of his cruise fare. Before you book your Port Adventure, make sure you are completely aware of how long the excursion will have you away from the ship. If you and your son are comfortable with the time away from each other, you can leave him with the counselors aboard the Disney Magic. (Please note that the wave phones will not be effective away from the ship.) I think that the arrangement is a great way for parents to enjoy time ashore without having to pick a Port Adventure scaled down for children.

I hope this helps you plan. Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation. Bon voyage!
