Hi William,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question!
My little guy has always been really big for his age, so I was often worried that people would ask us for identification when we visited
Walt Disney World Resort, especially when he was under 3 years old and didn’t need a
Theme Park Ticket.
I’m happy to say that Cast Members would sometimes ask me how old he was (and be surprised at the answer!) but no one ever asked me to “prove” how old he was with identification.
Please note, however, that there’s always a chance that policies and procedures may change and that identification may be required for little ones in order to prove that they actually are under 3 years of age. If you don’t feel comfortable walking around with your children’s passports, I’d recommend having a picture of your children’s passports in your smartphone or even an actual paper photocopy on hand, just in case you need identification for them. I also find that to be handy, generally, when travelling abroad.
Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions. We’re always happy to help!
Have a Magical Day,
Lynne
