Hiya, Leanne! Welcome to planDisney.
How exciting that you’re bringing your little ones across the pond to the Most Magical Place on Earth! There’s nothing quite like seeing Walt Disney World Resort through the eyes of a child. Those first glimpses of
Cinderella Castle, riding
Dumbo the Flying Elephant with your toddler, or watching your Mouseketeer's face light up at a character hug... pure magic! You’re in for a proper boss time making those core memories.
Now, let's get down to business. As of now,
Minnie Vans (operated via the Lyft app and driven by friendly Cast Members) do not typically offer pick-up or drop-off service at hotels not owned and operated by Disney, like the Holiday Inn Orlando – Disney Springs Area. They’re mainly focused on transport between
Disney Resort hotels and the theme parks or Disney Springs itself. They also offer services for Guests staying at the Four Seasons Resort Orlando, Shades of Green, and Walt Disney World Swan, Dolphin, and Swan Reserve hotels. That said, you can still use a standard Lyft or Uber for pickups at your hotel, and if you're ever inside the Disney bubble and fancy a ride with a bit more Disney flair, you can hop in a Minnie Van from there.
Here’s a cheeky tip for when you’re travelling with little ones: pack a small bag with snacks, spare clothes, and a toy or two for the queues. And don't forget: you can grab a free "First Visit" badge from Guest Relations at the parks. Your kids’ll look proper cute wearing them, and you'll have a souvenir to take home and cherish.
As we say in Liverpool, "Ta-ra, Leanne. Nice one for poppin' round."
