Hi - We are travelling from New Zealand, spending 2 weeks at the Wilderness Resort in October. I have booked a character breakfast at the Polynesian Resort for 9am but am worried about getting there on time? What time do we need to leave the hotel?

    Hi Maree!

Thank you for sending in your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel.

I don't know if you are staying at the Wilderness Lodge or Fort Wilderness, but it really doesn't matter.  You should not have any problems getting to your breakfast on time.  The fastest way to get from your resort to the Polynesian will be to take the boat that runs between both of those resorts and the Magic Kingdom.  Once you get to the Magic Kingdom boat launch area, don't head into the theme park; instead head to the Magic Kingdom monorail station and catch the monorail to the Polynesian.  If you are staying at the Wilderness Lodge, I recommend being down at the boat dock by 8:30 at the latest and if you are staying at Fort Wilderness, I recommend being down at the boat dock by 8:15.

Breakfast at Ohana is a lot of fun and a lot of good food!  Enjoy!
