I will be travelling with a 6 month old baby, who can't sit unaided in a highchair yet. Do the restaurant highchairs have solid back supports and shoulder straps which will support her?

In my experience, Vikki, the high chairs at Disney are not the kind you probably have at home with the back support and straps.  The ones I've seen/used in Disney restaurants are the typical wooden variety high chairs with low backs and straps that serve only keep your child from standing up (the ones that lie low over her lap), but don't really offer any substantial support.  Will you be bringing a stroller from home?  Perhaps your best bet is to bring along a stroller with a detachable safety seat and prop your child next to the table in her safety seat during meals.

The baby care center at the Magic Kingdom does have the kind of highchair that offers more support if you need a safe and comfortable spot to feed her.  Unfortunately, that is the only place where I've seen that style of highchair.
