Hi there, Lisa, and welcome to planDisney! It sounds like you're planning a delightful vacation with your little one. From one mom to another, I'm so glad that you're here with this great question. Bringing a little one to
Walt Disney World Resort is a special experience, and you're sure to make memories you'll cherish for years to come.
Lisa, you're welcome to
call your
Disney Resorts Collection hotel ahead of your visit or visit the Front Desk when you arrive to see if you can request a microwave in your room. These are occasionally available but not guaranteed. The Resorts typically do not offer kettles. Many Guests have brought bottle warmers, so perhaps that's an option for you. You're always welcome to visit the quick-service food area of your Resort to get complimentary hot water and use the microwave there.
When you're in the Disney Theme Parks, head to the
Baby Care Center. They're lovely facilities that offer quiet spaces to change and feed your baby, make and clean bottles, and even purchase essentials like diapers, wipes, and more.
There are so many ways to streamline your vacation to make sure you and your baby have a great time. I highly recommend bringing a stroller that your baby can nap in as you enjoy the parks. I pack my stroller using gallon-size plastic bags and always bring a change of clothes for my little one. Since you'll park the stroller in designated areas outside of attractions, it's helpful to have a rain cover in case of inclement weather.
Lisa, I hope this is helpful as you continue to plan your vacation. I've always thought that 11 months is a great age to bring a baby to Walt Disney World Resort, and I'd be thrilled to share more tips with you if you have any other questions.
See ya real soon!
