Hi.... we are travelling in March to Disney. Our little girl is highly allergic to milk, all dairy, eggs, nuts, wheat and gluten. Can you recommend restaurants that might be suitable and is there good availability of allergy friendly foods is supermarkets?

Hi Maria - I'm sorry to hear about your little girl's allergies.  My daughter is allergic to nuts, so I have a little bit of experience in this area at Walt Disney World (although not to same extent as you).

In my experience, all of the Disney table service restaurants can accommodate allergy concerns.  It's best to mention this to the cast member who is seating you, so that they can send the chef right over.  This is something they deal with all of the time, and they are extremely accommodating.

As for allergy-friendly foods, I don't know if they'll have everything you need on property.  There's definitely fresh fruit which will probably work, but you may consider finding an outside grocery store to deliver a selection of food to your resort.  The grocery store that many people use is called the Garden Grocer, but you'll have to look to see if the allergy-free selection is appropriate.

    Have a great vacation!
