    We are travelling on the maiden voyage of the Disney Fantasy on the 31st March, can you advise us will there be any special activities onboard? And as it will be Easter will there be any celebrations?

    Congratulations on cruising the maiden voyage of the magnificent Disney Fantasy! What an amazing high seas adventure awaits you! Disney Cruise Line is still placing the finishing touches on the maiden voyage, and Christening ceremonies, for the newest vessel in their fleet. Announcements related to celebrities involvement, and the Godmother, will be made when the time is right. However, I can assure you that your cruise will be filled with many special and unforgettable surprises. I sailed on the Christening cruise of the Disney Dream and the experience exceeded all my expectations!

     

    We do not yet have information regarding special holiday events taking place on the Disney Fantasy for Easter. However, based on past sailings, "Easter Cruises" typically feature special ornaments in the main dining venues, such as decorated chocolate eggs. In addition, the White Rabbit, from Alice in Wonderland is typically available for a very special character meet-and-greet opportunity. There is usually an event held in the Youth Clubs featuring special Easter treats, face painting, and candy. On Easter morning, you will have access to an Interdenominational Sunrise Service, Protestant Easter services, and Catholic Mass at various times.
