I am travelling with my larger family and I have a 2 year old who will need to nap mid way through the day. Will I be able to leave the park to take them back for a nap and come back in to the same park later that day if I don't have a hopper pass?

    Hi Kevin,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question!

We’ve visited Walt Disney World Resort often with our little guy (who just turned 4) and I’m a BIG believer in naps for little ones on vacation. You’ll be happy to know that, even if your Theme Park Tickets don’t include the Park Hopper Option, you’ll be able to leave and re-enter the same Walt Disney World Resort Theme Park as many times as you like during a given day. I therefore strongly encourage you to return to your hotel in order to let your little one nap (and maybe have a nap yourself!) before heading back to the Theme Park for an evening of fun.

Tip: I usually try to shift my little guy’s nap schedule over by 2 hours whenever we’re on vacation, so that he naps from, say, 3:00-5:00 p.m. That way, I find that he’s able to stay awake for the nighttime shows and fireworks. Plus, that way, he’ll be able to enjoy the family’s evening activities, instead of just tolerating them or spending the night asleep in his stroller. If you think that a shifted schedule would work for your family, I recommend trying it out!

Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions.

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
