Hey there, Amanda. Thanks for coming back to planDisney to share your question with us. Hooray! A visit to the Disneyland Resort is in the works and I'm thrilled to help.
As Olaf says, "Winter's a good time to stay in and cuddle, but put me in summer and I'll be...a happy snowman." And I think summer is a wonderful time to visit the Happiest Place on Earth. Theme park reservations can be made up to 120 days in advance of your visit. I just checked the
Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar and noticed that the day of your arrival (and the remainder of the week) is now currently available. You can visit the Disneyland site to
purchase your theme park tickets.
Once you have your theme park tickets and reservations squared away, you may want to start thinking about dining reservations. One of my favorite things to do when visiting the Disneyland Resort is to plan out where and what I'd like to eat.
Advance dining reservations can be made up to 60 days in advance. A couple of places I recommend are
Carnation Cafe in Disneyland Park (try the fried pickles) and
Lamplight Lounge in Disney California Adventure Park (try the donuts - only available during lunch and dinner). Then there are also quick-service restaurants and I highly recommend using the
mobile food and beverage ordering feature in the
Disneyland app to reduce the time you spend waiting in lines.
Amanda, I hope this has been helpful and gives you a good start to planning your magical visit. If you have any other questions, please come back to ask us -
even ask me directly.
Happy planning!
Michelle
