Hello! We will be travelling with my husband and baby for the first time to Walt Disney World and saw that the place is huge! Is there any paid or free way to ride from one park to another? We will be staying in a hotel outside the resort.

    Welcome Dominique ~

Your trip is literally around the corner and I bet you are too excited to sleep already!

I have family in the Orlando area and some trips we stay off-property with them and visit the parks. There are lots of complimentary transportation options available to all Guests whether you're staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel or a nearby resort.

My favorite way to travel at the Walt Disney World Resort is by monorail. If you are visiting the Magic Kingdom and would like to travel to Epcot, you can take the monorail from the Magic Kingdom to the Transportation and Ticket Center and then transfer to the Epcot monorail. This monorail gives you a great view of the resort between those theme parks. You can also take the monorail back to the Magic Kingdom the same way.

If you are looking for a wild adventure at Animal Kingdom, you can take a bus to and from all four of the theme parks to get there.

I also love traveling by boat and enjoy taking a Friendship Boat to travel between Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios.

You can climb aboard a bus to go to and from the Magic Kingdom and Disney's Hollywood Studios.

One-way bus service to Disney Springs is offered from all four of the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks from 4:00 p.m. until 11:00 p.m. or 2 hours after theme parks close, whichever is earlier.

You can take a taxi between the theme parks. Look for them in the parking lots near the main entrances of the theme parks with the exception of the Magic Kingdom. You will need to go to the Transportation and Ticket Center or one of the resort hotels on the monorail line to get a taxi from there.

Please feel free to visit us again with all of your last minute planning questions. We are hEAR for you!

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison V.
